Frogham Fair is a traditional village fete providing a fun afternoon for all the family. Young and old alike will find plenty to keep them entertained!
There is a large arena where 2 shows are put on throughout the afternoon. In recent years Frogham Fair has played host to a variety of acts including stunt riders, comedy cars and the very popular 'Jive Pony' which involved a trio performing their gymnastic act on horseback.
There is a wide variety of stalls to look around - crafts, local produce, plants, books, bric-a-brac, raffles and tombolas to name just a few.
Children will love the traditional games like lucky dip, flipping frogs, plate smashing and treasure hunt. Punch and Judy shows, the bouncy castle, trampolines and a ride on Trigger the Train will also prove popular with them.
Terrier racing is held throughout the afternoon. If you have a terrier and would like to enter the races just bring him or her along to the Fair. There is also a Tote for those who would like to try their luck guessing the winners.
On display is a large collection of vintage cars and motorbikes which are brought from far and wide by their owners.
The afternoon ends with the famous wheelbarrow race up Blissford Hill. There are separate men's and women's races. Will you be brave enough to take part?
Many different refreshments are available including a BBQ, tea and cake tent, bar with beer and cider, a pimms tent, ice cream stalls, and hot doughnuts - something for everybody!
